Refund Policy

At Launchpad Mobile, we provide custom immersive technology solutions including VR training simulators, 3D visualizations, and enterprise VR applications. Due to the bespoke nature of our services, our refund policy is structured to ensure clarity and fairness for both parties.

1. Custom Development Services

All projects involving custom software development, 3D modeling, motion capture integration, or tailored VR/AR experiences are considered **non-refundable** once work has commenced. This includes:

  • Discovery and scoping phases;
  • Design and prototyping;
  • Development, testing, or deployment.

Work begins upon mutual agreement and acceptance of a signed Statement of Work (SOW) or project proposal.

2. Deposits and Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 30–50% is typically required to initiate a project. This deposit covers initial planning, resource allocation, and opportunity cost. Remaining payments are due per agreed milestones.

If a client cancels a project **before any work has begun**, the deposit may be refunded at our sole discretion, minus any administrative fees.

3. Hardware and Third-Party Purchases

Orders for VR headsets, motion capture systems, or other hardware arranged through us are subject to the manufacturer’s return policy. We do not issue refunds for third-party hardware unless the vendor permits it and the item is unopened and in original condition.

4. Support & Maintenance Plans

Recurring support or maintenance subscriptions may be canceled at any time. Refunds for unused portions of prepaid annual plans are considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

5. Defects or Performance Issues

We stand behind the quality of our work. If a delivered solution contains material defects or fails to meet specifications outlined in the SOW, we will, at our option:

  • Correct the issue at no additional cost;
  • Provide a partial credit toward future services.

Refunds are not issued for functional deliverables that meet agreed requirements, even if client expectations change post-delivery.

6. No General Right to Refund

Because our services are custom-built and labor-intensive, we do not offer a general right to cancel or receive a refund under consumer “cooling-off” laws that apply to standardized goods.
